How it works

Connecting pup parents nearby to help each other out with dog care

1 Join your postcode and verify yourself Tell us where you are and confirm who you are with a photo of your ID and a selfie. You see the neighbours near you, and they see you.

2 Say what you can help with Walks, sits, sleepovers. Whichever of the three you are happy to do, and when you are usually free.

3 Ask when you need a hand Say what you need and the date. Local pup parents see it.

4 Meet first, then arrange Have a walk together before the day itself, so you have both met and so have the dogs.

Our Mission

Loving your dog is the easy part. It's everything around it that's hard. The days you're stuck late at work, the trip you can't take them on, that pang of guilt when they've been on their own a bit too long. Every dog owner knows the feeling, and paying a sitter or walker every time soon adds up.

It doesn't have to be that way. We bring together likeminded dog owners nearby, people who genuinely get it because they're dog owners too, so there's always someone who can help. HAPO is all about swapping dog care favours. Walk yours, walk mine. Some days you'll need a hand, other days you'll be the one free to give one. It goes both ways, so it never feels like you're putting anyone out. Together we're creating a kinder world for neighbours and pets.
